Rosario Cruz Obituary
Cruz, Rosario "Charo" a Veteran of the Korean War, entered into eternal life on, April 6, 2008, at the age of 79, devoted and beloved husband of the late Catalina (nee Santos), beloved son of the late Rosario Jr. (Sheila), Gladys, Louis (Yaya), Edgardo, Yvonne, Edwin H. (Elsa), Gaobain and Walter (Sofia), dear brother of Ernesto (Julie), the late Hipolita, the late Juana (late Jose) Otero and seven other deceased brothers and sisters. Proud grandfather of 31 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and friend to all. Funeral Friday, April 11, 2008, 9:30 a.m., from the Walter L. Sojka Funeral Home, 1427 W. Chicago Ave., Chicago, IL, to Holy Innocents Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Interment Maryhill. Visitation Thursday, 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Edwin H. Cruz, Director. 312-666-2673

My heart goes out to the entire Cruz Familia. Although you may feel that your only comfort is that they are together. Know that these experiences have made your bonds stronger and your love for eachother spoken each and everyday. Remember, it is not only necessary to Love, but it is also necessary to say so.

Pop, you are now united with your wife, Catalina, your son, Goat (Junior), and your beloved grandson, Alex. I hope all of you are looking down on us with love and that your recent pain and suffering is alleviated. The Cruz Family has suffered with the recent loss of our loved ones but we will stay strong.
