Rosaline Rappa Obituary
Rappa, Rosaline C. 60, of DeKalb, IL, passed away September 14, 2009 in DeKalb. She was born on November 22, 1948, the daughter of Joseph Peter and Mary Theresa (Pociask) Stefanski. She married Frank John Rappa on December 19, 1980 in Chicago, IL. She is survived by her daughter, Christine McLaughlin; granddaughter, Alyssa McLaughlin; five sisters; and many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Frank. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at St. Mary Catholic Church, 321 Pine Street, DeKalb, IL 60115 with Father Kenneth Anderson officiating. Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Sunday, September 20, 2009 and from 3:00 to 8:00 pm on Monday, September 21, 2009 with a wake service at 8:00 pm at the Anderson Funeral Home in DeKalb. Cremation will take place after services at the Anderson Funeral Home Crematory. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Rosaline C. Rappa Memorial Fund in care of the Anderson Funeral Home, Ltd., P.O. Box 605, DeKalb, IL 60115. For information please call 815-756-1022.

My deepest sympathy to Maryann, Josephine, Charmaine, Cathy and Adrienne. I loved Rose for the way she loved all of you.
And above all my heart goes out to you Chris. You nurtured and cared for Rose, always by her side. You blessed her with a wonderful grandchild and she cherished and loved both of you dearly.
I am deeply saddened at the loss of my good friend, but I am grateful for having been in her life and for being able to share many precious moments with her and the entire family.
