Rosalie Carter Obituary

Carter, Rosalie Eva was born October 13, 1912 to Ada Allen and Valentine Bruno in London, England, and passed away August 28, 2005, at Montgomery Place Nursing Home. Rosalie is survived by daughter, Joan R. Ashby (Dr. K. T. Ashby, deceased), of Chicago, IL; son, Kelwin H. Burrell Jr. (Judy) of Denver CO; grandchildren, Dr. Keith M. Ashby (Dr. Agnes Solon-Ashby) of Alexander LA, Dr. Kevin H. Ashby of Dana Point, CA, Leslie A. Burrell of Denver, CO, Linda R. Hill of San Bernadina, CA, Quentin H. Burrell (Jennifer) of Denver, CO, Lauren E. Burrell of Las Vegas NV, great-grandchildren, Colin and Meredith Ashby of Alexander, LA, Jabrael and Kaylie Hill San Bernadina, CA, Jordon and Jackson Burrell of Denver, CO, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Visitation 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, August 30, at Charles S. Jackson Funeral Home, 7350 S. Cottage Grove (773-783-3522). Visitation also Wednesday, August 31st, 10 a.m., Funeral 11 a.m., at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 655 E. 88th St. Interment Oak Woods Cemetery.

On behalf of our entire family, we offer the family and friends of Mrs. Rosalie Carter our sincere condolences on her passing. Our aunt, Margaret Williams, has enjoyed the friendship and companionship of Mrs. Carter and her family during her time at Montgomery Place and we are grateful for the time we were able to spend with her. Mrs. Carter was a special woman and we will miss her. Please know that our thoughts are with all of you at this difficult time.
