On May 10, 2023 Our Lord called Ron home to be united with his parents, James and Eleanor, his brother Robert (OSM), and his long- time companion Barbara Radziwon. Ronald was a teacher and Vice-Principal at Our Lady of Good Counsel School in Chicago, IL. He was loved by all his students! Ron also worked part-time at First National Bank as a tax accountant. Ronald graduated from St. Agnes Grade School, Kelly High School and DePaul University (earning his degree in Education) He also was a member of the Coast Guard before he attended DePaul. A resident of Chicago's Brighton Park Community, Ron was a devoted member of St. James Parish located at 2907 S. Wabash, Chicago, IL, where he and Barbara ran the food pantry. A Mass will be celebrated at a later date at St. James Church honoring both he and Barb. Ronald will be missed by all his friends, none more that Fran, Denise and Alexa Radziwon. May he rest in peace and we are confident he is ecstatic that he is back with Barbara. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at 11 AM at St. Joseph Church, 7240 W. 57 th Street, Summit, IL. After mass, the family invites everyone to join them for a luncheon in Celebration of Ronald at Crystal Sky Banquets, 7941 W. 47 th Street, McCook, IL. Interment will be private at Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Please consider a donation in Barbara Radziwon's memory to the Alzheimer's Association.
