Ronald C. Stuart, age 71, of Channahon, former Fenwick High School teacher, passed away June 26, 2021. Beloved husband of Loretta "Laurie" (Sallese) Stuart; loving father of Kevin (Amelia) Stuart and Richard (Amanda) Stuart; and adored grandfather of Natalie, Ryan, and Molly. Visitation Friday, July 2, 2021, 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., at Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Road, (at Essington Road), Joliet. Funeral Mass Saturday, July 3, 2021 at 10:30 a.m., at St. Ann Catholic Church, Channahon, IL. To the family of Ron Stuart, you have my sincerest condolences. Ron was always kind and compassionate toward others. He was one of my favorite teachers at Fenwick. His tutoring allowed me to get through my Spanish classes. In addition, I have the fondest memories from the photography club working in the darkroom learning to develop my own film. I'll cherish those memories for the rest of my life.

My sincere condolences to the Stuart family on the loss of Ron. He was blessed to have a loving family in his life. Though I didn't know Ron well, I always appreciated his kind and friendly outreach whenever I intermittently saw him through the years. He had a way of making people feel comfortable around him. I appreciated his ability to display a genuine concern for others. Your family is in my prayers as you grieve his loss.

To the family of Ron - Ron was an incredible coworker who genuinely cared about his students, his coworkers, and his family. I fondly recall hearing stories about his grandchildren.
