Smith, Ronald James 62 wonderful years. War veteran from Viet Nam. A beloved husband of Deamonda (Dee) Smith, a loving father of Deval (William) Speer. Karen (Walter) Pukala, Shannon (Frank) Kelly, Kristie (Christopher Zuniga) Smith and Nicole (Steve Margondai) Smith, a devoted grandfather of Lara, Cody, Justin, Eric, Liam, LiliAnne, Cameron, Katie and Zack, dear brother of Philip Smith and the late Gail and David Smith, a devoted son of the late Bernadene and John Smith, dear brother in law of William and Michael Kalady and the late Gus and Joseph Kalady. Visitation: Monday, April 16th, 4 p.m. until 9 p.m., at Lakeview Funeral Home, 1458 W Belmont Ave, Chicago, IL 60657. Funeral Mass: Tuesday, April 17th, 10 a.m., at St. Hedwig Church Catholic Church, 2227 N Hoyne St, Chicago, IL 60647. I am saddend to hear of Rons passing. Prayers from my family to yours. I just heard this today while driving though the old neighborhood. Ron was a great guy who worked very hard to give what he could to his family. My love and prayers are with you.
