It is such a shock that I saw the email about Ron's pass away when I came back from one week's vacation. Before my vacation, Ron told me that he was going to have the by-pass surgery. He asked me to keep him posted even during maybe 8-weeks recovering time after his surgery, so he could return to work as soon as possible. He is so dedicated to his work. He wants to serve his customers.
I became to know him about 4 years ago when we worked togather for same customers. I was somewhat anxious at the beginning, since it was a new field for me. Ron has been giving me a lot of encouragement and guidance since then. He is a straight forward person, never hide his opinions. He is very experienced in technical field, but he is very humble as well. If he didn't know something, he would admit it, never pretend he knew. Whenever I came to him, he always tried to help me as much as he could. He is one of mentors to me in my work.
I feel really sorry for the loss to his family. Please accept my deepest sympathies.
