Lala, Ronald V. age 66, beloved husband of the late Beverly (nee Brant), loving father of Jennifer (Ryan) Mavilla and Joey (Jamie, nee Tierney) Lala, cherished grandfather of Madison and Joey Mavilla, Olivia and Jackson Lala, dear uncle of many nieces and nephews. Retired member of IBEW Local Union 134 and owner of Leland Electric. Funeral Saturday, 9:30 a.m. from Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 6150 N. Cicero Ave., Chicago, to Queen of All Saints Basilica for Mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment All Saints Cemetery. My sisters and I remember Ronnie Lala from the '50's. Your great- grandparents and our grandparents were all friends then. We remember Ron as always smiling and friendly. We lived not too far from your dad near Montrose and Austin. I sure miss those days and the St. Joseph tables on March 19th with all the food and old timers. Our sympathy to you and your families. Dear Jen, Joey and Family,
Words can not describe the loss of my friend of over 30 years. I will keep in my heart all of the great memories of great times spent with Ron. He took the word "friend" to a whole new level. Sorry to her of the passing of Ron. I truely enjoyed treating him and discussing old corvettes. My thoughts and prayers are with the whole Lala family. He will surely be missed but the memoroies, smiles, and even laughs will last forever in his familiy and friends.

Even though we didn't know you for that long of a time, you really touched our lives. We wish we could have known you for many more years, my mother simply adored you.
