(nee Helm); loving father of Fawn (Kevin) Combs, Scott Horwitz, Starr (Randy) Lichtman, Margo Horwitz and Hali (Todd) Perlman; devoted grandfather of Craig (Kim), Daniel, Katie Jo, Olivia, Samuel, Landon, Samantha and Alexander; adoring great-grandfather of Luke and Molly; dear brother of Frank (Cinda) Horwitz. Memorial Service, Monday, July 1, 3 PM at Congregation BJBE, 1201 Lake Cook Road, Deerfield. A private family interment was held. My name is Gary Kushner. I lived in the same building-4344 N. Lawndale- as Ron and Franklin in 1939. I remember that I went to Ron's birthday party. He was 5 or 6. We were good friends unti we moved.
