All these years later, I'm still sharing some of Ron's words with others several times a year. He had a real impact on my thinking. At least once a month I find myself reflecting on our friendship and missing him. I don't know that before or since we were together that I've had as close a friend as Ron was to me.

Ron was both a friend and mentor to me, shaping my attitude toward our chosen profession as well as my responsibility to it. I will always remember his easy-going way while standing for his convictions.

My trusted friend and brother. I will always treasure the lessons he taught me in life, about trying to do the right thing and just being there for others. His life was truly a life of service to others and to his family. He and his wife, Phyllis, were a very close team. She was the wings beneath his feet. Share your Ronnie stories with her when you have a chance.
