Ronald Budo Obituary

Budo, Ronald F. "Ron" age 72, of Plainfield, IL, formerly of Chicago, died Wednesday, June 2, 2004 at Edward Hospital, Naperville, IL. He was born September 25, 1931 in Chicago. Loving husband of Geraldine A. "Jaye" (nee Longa), beloved father of Edward (Eileen), Richard (Rose) and William (Anne Marie), adored grandfather of Susan, Bob, Victoria, Christopher and Kateri, devoted son of the late Victor and Helen Budo, dear brother of Alberta Budo, fond nephew of Betty Otlewis. Mr. Budo served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War and was employed for many years by Illinois Bell, retiring in 1988. Visitation Friday, 4 to 9 p.m. at Overman-Jones Funeral Home, 309 S. Joliet Rd., Plainfield, IL. Services will begin Saturday, 9 a.m. from the funeral home and will proceed to a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Andrew the Apostle Church, 505 Kingston St., Romeoville, IL. Future inurnment will be at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, 651 N. Washington St., Suite #400, Chicago, IL, 60661.
