To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man."

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

Dear Daddy/Grandpa,
We just wanted to let you know that Michael Ronald Thomas Egan got home safely from Spain. He wrote you a letter to tell you all about his trip. We miss you so much Dad. Words can't describe the emptiness that we feel everyday. I still pick up the phone to call you. I just want to hear your voice. You were the BEST Father/Grandfather anyone could ask for. I'm the luckiest girl in the world to have a father like you. I'm even luckier to have married someone like my "DADDY". The world isn't the same without you. You will always be alive in our hearts. Thank you for looking out for your Grandson. I know i can still count on you! We will be seeing you soon. Michael and I will see you every Sunday! I love you Daddy and i want to thank you for all the great memories you have given me and my children. You were and still are the best Father/Grandfather in the entire world!!!!

Bo,

Boy, am I going to miss you! It was great seeing you the last time I was in town. I'll miss talking with you on the phone just to see how things were going. You were always the "uncle" I never had. We should all be so lucky to have someone like you in our lives. You will always be loved by all and missed even more.

Grandpa-
I know I havn't really been there for you and the rest of the family through out the years, but you were always in my heart. You are the one that made what my dad is today, and I thank you very much for doing so. You were the role model for my dad, and you are the greated role model known to this family. I thank you for being my grandpa; I couldn't ask for any better one. I'm sorry I never really came to visit you when the cancer started to get worse. I just couldn't see MY grandpa going through all that pain just to stay alive for the family. I thank you for holding on as long as you did; I had the best time with you from the last time I saw you. I have pictures from that wonderful day that I saw your wonderful face. I will always forever love you grandpa. In memory of you; your grandson Adam, me, and your son Steve are getting tattoos because we never really had any picture to share over the years with you and us. I will send pictures when tattoos are finished. I love you so much Grandpa, you are the best man that has walked into the Booe life.
Love,
Steve & Adam & Rachel

I love you.
