I go way back with Roger, we were roommates teaching junior high in Vermillion, Ohio in 1965-66. Then I suggested he come to Illinois in 1970. We had some great times. Good bye old friend.

Yes, rest in peace, roger. A true friend and political ally for many years. From the battles on the northwest side of Chicago to the battles in the northwest suburbs. Your high energy commitment was just amazing.
