Shadwick, Roger W. 74, October 24, 2016, dearly beloved husband of Margaret R. "Margie" Shadwick (nee Pierce); devoted son of the late Wallace and Lorraine Kolb Shadwick; loving brother of Ted M. (Joan) Shadwick and the late Rodney Shadwick; dear brother-in-law of Gerald J. (Pat) Pierce and Lloyd Z. (Mary) Pierce; fond uncle of many. Roger was a lifelong resident of the south and southwest sides of Chicago, having grown up in Visitation Parish. He was a proud Vietnam War veteran having served in the U.S. Army and a retired Chicago Police officer with nearly 27 years of dedicated service to our city. Member Fraternal Order of Police and St. Symphorosa Parish. Funeral Service Friday, October 28, 10:00 a.m., at CENTRAL CHAPEL, 6158 S. Central Ave., Chicago, IL.
