Roger McLeod Obituary

McLeod, Roger M. 71, of Valparaiso, passed away Monday, February 19, 2018. He was born on April 19, 1946 in Chicago, IL to Martin and June (Mensching) McLeod. Roger spent his career working as a Pipefitter with Local 597. He loved cooking and was an inventive chef for his family and friends. Roger also enjoyed creative woodworking in his spare time. He will be remembered as a funny and generous man, who loved his family. On November 18, 1978 in Chicago, Roger married Diane Pivoris, who survives, along with children, Kimberly (Kevin) Green of CA, Kathleen (Michael Cummings) McLeod of Gardner, IL, Sean McLeod of Valparaiso; grandchildren, Taylor, Robert, Chase; and brother, Patrick (Cheryl) McLeod of Illinois. Roger was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Nancy Baxter. A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2018 from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. at Moeller Funeral Home, 104 Roosevelt Rd., Valparaiso. A memorial service will begin at 2:00 p.m.
