Rodrigo Floro Obituary
Floro MD, Col. Ret. USAF, Rodrigo B age 64, suddenly, on September 26, 2004 in the Philippines. Beloved husband of Lourdes Dimaano Floro, M.D., loving father of Cristina D. Floro, D.M.D., Clarissa F. (Patrick J. M.D.) Rhode, M.D., Rodrigo D. (Celeste Africa, CFA) Floro Jr., Atty. and Robert J. Floro, LCpl. USMC, proud grandfather of Sofia Kathryn and Jack Patrick Rhode. Dr. Floro was a surgeon at Little Company of Mary Hospital. He served as chairman of the Department of Surgery at St. Bernard and Englewood Hospitals, Chief of General Surgeries of the 314th Medical Group with the USAF and Midwest Medical Director for the Correction Medical Services for Spectrum Health Care Services; a member of the Society of Philippines Surgeons in America, The Philippine Medical Association of Chicago and the American College of Physicians Executive Services. A memorial Mass will be celebrated 10:30 a.m. Thursday, November 4, 2004 at St. Michael Church, 14327 S. Highland Ave., Orland Park (four blocks west of LaGrange Road). Our condolences to the entire Floro family. Our son is a new patient to Dr. Lourdes Floro. We did not know Dr. R. Floro personally but, if he was anything like Dr. L. Floro, there is a new angel in heaven.
