Rodney Boehmer Obituary
Rodney Charles Boehmer, age 75, formerly of Burr Ridge, IL, passed away on February 17, 2024. Beloved husband of Carol Boehmer nee Gursky. Loving father of Katherine (Shane) Boston and Rebecca Boehmer. Cherished grandfather of Faith and Jonah. Adored brother of James Boehmer and the late Kathryn "Kitty" (John) Bergman. Loving son of the late Frederick Boehmer and Catherine Boehmer nee Wilson. Loving God Son of Charles "Chuck" Wilson. Adored cousin of Ricky Wilson and the late Vicky Wilson. Cherished uncle of Keith (Lori) Boehmer, Alesha (Fidel) Villar, and Will (Kristy) Boehmer. He will be missed by many great nieces and great nephews. Beloved brother in law of Dennis Gursky. Father figure to Mark (Caitlin) Mackus and Sara Mackus (Michael) Katzenbach. Grandfather figure to Henry, Charlotte (Charlie), Holden and Skye.
A morning Visitation will take place on Friday March 1, 2024 from 9AM-10:30AM located at Christ Church Oak Brook, 501 Oak Brook Rd, Oak Brook, IL 60523. A prayer service will follow promptly at 10:30 am also located at Christ Church of Oak Brook.
