I always think of Robin on her birthday (more than other times of the year). She loved December when life became festive! I'm sorry she didn't get to spend more time with Andrea, and all the people who cared about her.

Words can no express my devastation and sadness. I worked with Robin and kept in touch with her throughout the years. Her travels and experiences abroad were shared by me and I felt that I traveled the world through her. I still have the many souvenirs she would bring me back from the different places she visited and I was truly blessed to have known such a great person. I will miss her dearly and most of all our talks and laughs together. My trip to Chicago years ago was wonderful because Robin was my tour guide. To the family my condolences and prayers because to lose a loved one such as Robin is a hurt only God and time will heal. I will keep you in my prayers and keep in touch with you.

I miss you Robin.

To Cotie & Denise,& family
Sorry to hear about Robin, I just found out and very sad about what happen, I know she loved all her family by the way she would talk about them at work(Seamodal). I still remember talking to her in California and then she decided to move to Chicago and we spent time looking for apts, and even meet Denise when she came out to visit. She also had a surprise 40 birthday for me and had my parents come which was wonderful, very shortly after my Mom passed. When I lost my Dad and brother she came for support and I really appreciated that.I know she would help anyone that needed help in any shape or form she was a wonderful person to me and my daughters she even taught my youngest to ice skate when she was for 4 or so....This is only a few examples of what she had done for me. I spoke to her some time before his happen and we were trying to get together but didn't. She will truly be missed.
If there is anything I can do please let me know.

Robin, You were and are and always will be one lovely lady. I remember meeting you at Cotie's in Virginia and was always struck by how much fun you were. You and Cotie were like twin sisters. You were her best friend and you were the very best aunt a girl could ask for as Andrea's aunt. You know how much Cotie, Andrea, John, and all of your other family members miss you. You are in heaven now looking down on them. Please ask God to take good care of this very special Piecuch family...do it for me, Cotie's friend, Cindy.

Your memories of Robin will remain with you and make your loss more bearable. I wish I had known Robin.. She is now resting in peace and watching over you and your family.

My children and I knew Robin as Ms Cotie's sister and Andrea's Auntie Robin. We would see her when she visited Cotie, John and Andrea over various holidays. She always brought a new dimension of fun and enthusiasm to the day. I treasure those memories. My heart is sad for Cotie at the loss of her sister, but we know that the Lord's timing is perfect and Robin rests with Him now. May God bring Robin's family and friends peace.

Robin added so much to the experiences I had as an undergraduate at NEIU. From the time that Robin, Marianyelli Lopez, and I were 'drafted' into Pi Sigma Alpha leadership in January, 2006, until the fundraiser we put on in spring of 2007, to the dinner we had in July, Robin's conscientious manner, smiling face, and dependable cheerfulness were bright spots at every meeting or event, big or small. I miss her tremendously, and I feel blessed to have known her.

I had the good fortune to know Robin as a classmate at NEIU. Although I did not know her well, our paths crossed often, and she was always very friendly and outgoing towards me. Robin’s generosity of spirit will live on in my heart and in the hearts and minds of everyone who knew her, she will be missed.

I’m so glad to have been able to cross paths with Robin. I met her in one of my first classes at Northeastern a few years ago when she was doing her Undergraduate work and then she was in almost every political science class of mine thereafter. Secretly, I was always so thankful that her kindness helped me feel accepted into the class room as a mother going back to school. She was, as if, a graduate school angel for me and obviously for many others. Her last class was also my last class at Northeastern, and we have both graduated to different stages. Thank you, Robin, for helping me through the turbulence.

My deepest sympathy goes to the family, not only did we lost a sister, a cousin an aunt, a friend we lost a great humanitarian. Someone who we’ve known loved and cherished for some of us a long time and for others only a moment. Whether you spent 20 minutes or 20 years with Robin, I know the experience was magical, warm and inviting. I give thanks that I was one of the many lives that Robin touched. You will be missed Robin, you will be missed.

I'm a fellow graduate student at Northeastern Illinois University and I had the great pleasure of studying political science with Robin Archia since fall 2006. She was an inspiration. I am still in shock that she is no longer with us. My professor had to repeat the message to me twice before I accepted what she was telling me. We often had long conversations after class about politcal science. She will be dearly missed.

I just found out about her death after reading my email today. My condolences go out to her family and close friends. I had the opportunity of attending school with Robin, but also talking to her a few times after I graduated. She was a lovely, caring, and sweet person.
