Dear Pat and family,
I was deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Bob. I met him 8 years ago through the Indian Princesses program. At that time Bob was the ‘Chief’ of Tamaroa. He had a significant impact on me and my oldest daughter. He brought great pride to the program and was a great man. No one can tell me why this type of horrible thing happens to people, but I suspect we will find out when our time comes. Please know that you are in my families thoughts and prayers.

I'll miss my brother. I wish we had more time. I wish we had spent more time together. We always think that we have forever, but something like this brings us back to reality and we see how precious time is. I'm glad that I had the chance to tell him that I loved him....something brothers typically don't talk about. They say that you are a success if you leave this world a better place than when you came. Bob Truesdell is a success. Look at his wonderful family and all of the friends he has touched along the way. There's no question that this world is a better place for Bob Truesdell being here. I love you, Bob. We'll see each other again. Save a place for me!
