Mr Taghon was my coach 30 years ago at Potawatomi Park. I played on the Tigers with his son Jon. Of all my coaches, I never saw him get mad or angry. Just do your best, and have some fun...that's a good way to live.

I worked with Bob and he sat right across from me.. I will miss his smile and "Good Mornings" every day. He was a GREAT person to work with and made the days a little easier with his many stories. He was a kind and wonderful man. He will truly be missed. Be strong and always remember how many peoples lives he has touched. He will live on in many.

My condolences to Diane and the rest of Bob's family. They lived on our block in East Rogers Park. My younger brother grew up playing with his kids and he was friends with my mom and dad. Bob loved football and especially Notre Dame. May he rest in peace.
