Sorensen, Robert J. "Bob" dear brother of the late Roy (Donna Ormerod Sorensen) and the late Kenneth Sorensen, devoted son of the late Ella and Arnold Sorensen, beloved uncle of April Carlstrom, Sherri Clem, Signe Stearns, Jens Sorensen and Eric Sorensen, great-uncle of Mirja Tove, Eric Carlstrom, Duggan Clem, Marek Jensen, Liam Owen, Gavin and Ella Sorensen and Forrester Stearns. Mr. Sorensen was a life long tennis pro and instructor. He was instrumental in setting up and running the T.A.M Tennis and Fitness Center of the Niles Park District. Visitation Friday, 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral Saturday, 11 a.m., at Sax-Tiedemann Funeral Home & Crematorium, 9568 Belmont Ave., Franklin Park. Interment Mt. Olive Cemetery.
