Bob, "Bipster", "Dad"
I want to thank you for being the greatest friend, mentor & "Dad". You were always a father figure to me. You took me to my first Cubs game when I was 10 yrs old, you took my brothers & me to Apple Canyon & spent some unforgettable moments skiing, fishing, stopping for ice cream in Freeport, IL. I'll never forget the time you told us not to play with burning marsmallows that we were roasting in the campfire because someone can get hurt. And what happenes...one flaming marshmallow landed right onto your knee.
Also, you got me hooked on the oldies station (104.3 FM)when I was 12. I remember we would cruise around in your Black convertible and go to Gerties Ice Cream on 59th or Raibow Ice Cream on Western.
There are so many great memories to list but I'm glad to have had you in my life and help me stay out of trouble as a kid. Without your advice & mentoring throughout the years I don't know where i'd be today.
One day when my kids are old enough to ask who that man is in those pictures, I will tell them..."That was my Dad"

Bob, I haven't seen you in a long time. I remember when you used to come out to the golf outings and Mike always enjoyed your visits when he was sick. I still laugh when I think of our camping trip with you when you had your first little trailer (and you wouldn't let us use the bathroom). You guys had it easy but it was a long walk to the bathhouse. You were a wonderful, caring person who will be missed by many. May God bless your soul and welcome you to paradise.

Bob will always be my "brother" as he always has been. More than that he has been an inspiration for how to live well and how to really love. Thanks for being such an important part of my life and for the motorcycle ride of my life!

The memories of you will always be with us. I am sure that Erik and Michelle will think of you every time we are up in Apple Canyon. Thank you for always being there for Mom when she needed you. In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.
