Robert Sanfratello Obituary

Bobby and I had a great relationship. he was always trying new business ventures and was not only an interesting client but an all around good guy. I miss him, God Bless him.

I recently heard of Bobby's passing, It's always sad when one of the good guys has to go, I hsd the pleasure of working with both Bobby and his brother Louie back in the 70s at the 1st Dist. sure hope they got a good spot in heaven for him, he deserves it. My deepest condolences to your family. I used to call him the "Gimp". He was a true friend and will be missed dearly. I was unable to attend his mass and funeral. I have been in the Hines VA Hospital for a few months. I was deeply saddedned when I stumbled across his obituary in the newspaper yesterday. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers. It's funny , Bob popped into my head yesterday ...was wondering why that was but I got the call late because I was sick ....I apolgize for not being at his wake ...you dad was abig part of my younger years when he gave me a job as his Pizza maker at Sanfratello's 11th and state all I had to do was make a pie for "The Guys" at the head table ....if they were happy I got the job...you guesssed right they liked it .I continued to work for your Dad and had my days of driving him crazy but that never scared me away ....I also remember working for him up until the day I had a second daughter as I wobbled out of there that nite Bob yells at me over the counter "see you tomorrow kid ? " I said I doubt it very much and the one thing that sticks in my head was "his smirk" I think you all know that look ....I could go on and on but that would take up acouple of pages , just know you had a great dad and great husband and and awesome FRIEND .. no matter how hard headed he was and he loved each and everyone of you . I will miss him dearly ..May our Lord Jesus be with you all in this time of sorrow . God Bless .......Peggy sue

My deepest heart goes out to the family. The family lost a father and I lost a great friend. Bob's family has a place in my heart,with high dignity and high respect.

Sorry to hear about Bob's passing. We had many deals together over the years. He had a very interesting personaltiy and I never knew what he was going to do next - it was always a surprise. He made me laugh and scratched my head a few times. I enjoyed his friendship and him being a client of mine over the last 15 + years. What a great guy and I'll miss him. John Moauro

My Deepest Sympathies and Condolenses to Bob's family. Bob and I went way back in 001 on the three wheelers, we had many laughs. Frequented all his retaurants from the 1st bridgeport place, to pulaski and Tommy guns. May he rest in Peace, God Bless

I got to know Bob in the last year(meetings at cancer center)and really loved the guy, will miss him dearly.God bless him and his family.
