I just recently heard about Father Bob, and am very saddened by the news. He was there for my first communion and my confirmation in 2004. Such an amazing man, full of life!

I went to go look for Father Bob and just found out he passed. What a great priest, I knew Father Bob from my childhood when he was in Bensenville. Father Bob will always be a part of my life. Rest in Peace Father. - Jennifer, Bensenville, IL

Father Bob, you were a very special part of my family's life during your time in Lockport and you'll never be forgotten. Peace be with you!

Such great memories I have from my years at St. Joseph School. Father Bob was such a wonderful person. My thoughts and prayers go out to all his family & those who are feeling his loss. He was a very special man who will be missed by many.

Thank you Father Bob for all the love and support that you have provided us. Thank you for showing us the way to Christ in the ups and downs of life. We know you are enjoying the many riches of heaven that we spent hours chatting about. We also know that you are with our son Luke and are sharing some good stories about his Mama and Papa as well as Blizzard and Gizmo. Thank you for teaching us the truth of his place in heaven as a saint who is looking out for his Mama and Papa. We all miss you. Blizzard and Gizmo still wag their tail excitedly upon hearing your name. You've made a lasting impression on all our lives. Thank you for the gift of your friendship. We love you! Lastly, thank you Lord for the gift of Fr. Bob.

My thoughts are with Father Bob and his family. He was a remarkable Priest, person and friend to my late husband and I. He married us, said Ken's final mass and was there for us throught out the last 30+years. My late husband formed a bond with Father Pietras in his early years as an altar boy at St. Ray's. He was authentic and kind man. Our world was a better place having him as our spiritual guide and as a friend. Remembering you and will miss you.

OMG !!!! What a Special Man you were Father Bob !!!! You were really a man that kept us all (kids) on our toes !!! I have so many fun and interesting memories of you .... I'm sure you helped me grow=up and become what I am now !!! Sure wish I could have seened you again after the grade school times @ St Joseph... Rest with the big Daddy up there in Heaven witch I'm sure you are going !!! Aloha !!!

Fr. Bob, as in the past, you will always be in my prayers and thoughts. I have a lot of wonderful memories of you at Divine Savior during your visit here on earth. We had countless enjoyable conversations but the ones I especially enjoyed most were our conversations before and after the Saturday 4:30 PM Masses. I especially remember the times before Mass, you would always offer me a piece of Fannie May Candy; you would say, try this one its one of my favorites; then we would go off on a tangent about something. Thank you for all that you have done for the parish and especially for all the help and spiritual guidance you had given me through the years. Your memory will always live in me. Many thanks for marrying us, back on September 8, 1990, and all our good times at Divine Savior. You were a great priest for these then-twenty somethings and set the bar high for those who followed. Stacey & Mark Miller

How sorry for us to lose this dear holy man. Fr Bob married my daughter Ann and Mike in 1989 and officiated at Loretta and my 50 year wedding celebration Mass in 2005. And just one month later Fr Bob said the funeral Mass for my dear love Loretta. He is with her now and I pray that some day we will all be together again.

Your jolly spirit will stay with us as our comfort.
