Paliga, Robert E. age 71, late of Riverdale, Vet. U.S.A.F. Korean War. Beloved husband of the late Helen Paliga (nee Wesolowski, loving father of Cathy Paliga, Bob (Gailya) and Don Paliga, proud grandfather of Elise, dear brother of John (Anne) Paliga, Dolores Raines, Richard (Sue) Paliga, Ronald (late Ruth) Paliga and the late Dorothy (Harry) Brezinski, loving friend of Rita Jablonski. Visitation Thursday, 2 to 9 p.m. Funeral service Friday, 9:15 a.m., from Thornridge Funeral Home (Janusz Family Funeral Service), 15801 S. Cottage Grove Ave., four blocks North of 162nd St. (Rte. 6), Dolton/South Holland, to Our Lady of Knock Church. Mass 10 a.m. Entombment Holy Cross Mausoleum.
