Olsen, Robert W. "Bob" 63, of North Barrington for 30 years, beloved husband of Ricki Jean (nee Pollack); loving father of Robert (Lisa), Jeffrey (Bonnie), Tamara (Nick) Nottolini, Michael (Jennifer), Jennifer (Tom) Gertz and Daniel; cherished grandfather of Bobby, Ryan, Jamie, Ben, Jeffrey, Anne, Amy, Anthony, Joey, Nicholas, Summer and Michael; dear brother of Sandy (Dennis) Ireton and the late Nancy; devoted son of the late Irene and Wally Olsen. Born March 7, 1944 in Elmwood Park, IL, he passed away October 16, 2007, at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights. Bob loved golf and was an avid boater and proud member of Abbey Yacht Club in Lake Geneva, WI, a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 150 for 40 years, a real estate entrepreneur, member of Wauconda Moose Lodge #1969 and was a proud supporter of Children's Oncology Services. Visitation will be Saturday, October 20, from 12 noon until time of funeral service 6 p.m. at Kisselburg-Wauconda Funeral Home, 235 N. Main St., Wauconda. Inurnment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to Children's Oncology Services, www.onestepcamp.org. For info, 847-526-2115.
