Newlon , Robert Andrew

Robert Andrew Newlon of Chicago passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at the age of 75 years. He was born in Chicago on July 4, 1949 to Ralph and Rose (nee Zwirowski) Newlon. He was employed at Aon and The Warranty Group as an Accounting Analyst for years until he retired. Robert developed a lifelong love of the American Bald Eagle and Independence Day from having a birthday on the Fourth of July. He also enjoyed traveling to the Wisconsin Dells and Wisconsin State Fair with his friends and family.

He is survived by his sister, Rosemary (Ralph) Lukes, and his five brothers, Ralph (Alice), Raymond (Kristi), Richard, Russell, and Ronald (Karen), along with many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his longtime partner, Harry Stillwell.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

A visitation for Robert will take place on Friday, April 11, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Malec & Sons Funeral Home, located at 6000 North Milwaukee Avenue, Chicago, IL. A chapel service will be included at 6:00 PM at Malec & Sons Funeral Home.
