To the Miller Family, my family and I share deeply in your loss. I entered the fire service under Chief Miller, and I came to look upon him as a mentor, a formidable leader, and ultimately, a friend. For my association with him, I always consider myself all the better as I can pass on a legacy of learning and understanding that he taught me. He was, and always remained, Chief. Our best wishes to you at this time.

My sympathies to Chief Millers family I worked with him briefly but respected him greatly. May God rest his soul and may God grant healing and peace to his grieving family.

Dear Kathy, Curt and Families, We are so sorry for the loss of your father. Our dads were alike in many ways--firemen and joksters and great dads. I hope to see you today. I know he will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family.LOVE, Andy and Joan [Heelan] Koning

We think of our parents as invincible: the people who have all the answers and the ability to protect us from all the unknown forces "out there." Your "Pa" was definitely one of the invincible fathers. I know that he will be missed. I pray for comfort and grace for you and your family as you mourn his homegoing. I know your faith will support you.

To the Miller family. Bob was an awsome man and an outstanding chief. I spent many years in district one and worked with Bob on the fire ground and at the Chicago Ridge Mall public safety shows. The world has lost a great man. God bless the Miller family. Bob and Dee are together now and forever, Amen.

To the family of Chief Miller, I am a former North Palos FPD and was a student of his at MVCC. I am still serving proudly in the fire service and I am glad to have had the pleasure to have had the time with the Chief that I did. "Pidge"

So sorry to hear of Uncle Bob's passing. Without him cracking wise, there is much less humor in the world. God bless and take care.
