McDonald, Robert W. beloved son of the late Walter and Marguerite McDonald, fond brother of the late Dorothy and the late Richard (Rose) McDonald, loving uncle of Richard (Pam), Dennis (Linda), Kevin (Susan), Terry (Barb) and Virginia McDonald, Maureen (Mike) LeVanti, Kitty (Mike) Holt, Teresa (Dick) Paul and Margie (Todd) Montgomery, also survived by 31 grandnieces and nephews. Decorated WWII Army Veteran with a Bronze Star and three Purple Hearts. Retired longtime employee of AT&T. Funeral Saturday, December 16th, 10 a.m., at Matz Funeral Home, 410 E. Rand Road, Mt. Prospect. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation one hour prior to service. 847-394-2336.
