Robert Marks Obituary
Marks, Robert J. 61, passed away at home with his family by his side. Surviving Robert are his loving wife of 38 years, Star, son Kenneth, daughter Lisa, three grandchildren, Caleb, Zachary, Kacey, two brothers, Lester Marks Jr., Kenneth (Joan) Marks, sister Tina Kight, and sister-in-laws Rowena Marks, Georgia Carlson and Amanda Carlson. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester C. and Victoria Marks, Sr. and one brother, Walter Marks. Robert was a Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps where he served as an Embassy Security Guard in Kabul, Afghanistan and Jerusalem, Israel. He also worked for Brunswick Corporation for 30 years. Friends may meet with the family on Saturday, January 27, 2007 from 12 p.m. until memorial services at 2 p.m. at Warren Funeral Home, 1475 N. Cemetery Rd., Gurnee, IL. Star,
I enjoyed working with Bob as a part of our J&B team. He always brought a positive, can do attitude and when something needed to be done Bob could be counted on to make it happen.

Star and family,
Bob Marks was our colleague at J&B and a good friend too. We shared
some nice memories and laughs too, while at work..He was very good at
keeping in touch and I still have those pictures (of Kacey and the
family..) that he used to send..I will miss him a lot.
