I was saddened to learn of the loss of my friend Bob.

Dear Legoria, Kevin, Brian, Mike, Tom, Tim and Jack; I was deeply saddened to learn of Bob's death while I was out of the country. Bob was an exceptional friend to me, with a giant intellect to go along with his enormous heart and soul.I will always remember and miss his friendship, counsel and wisdom. He was greatly loved and will be sorely missed.

I just learned of Bob's passing and wanted to add my condolences to the legions of friends and family that have shared their thoughts and prayers with you. Through Tom I was fortunate to get to know you and Bob, and have the ability to work with Bob on many adventures. He was truly a man of wonders, with a personality and intellect that did him and you proud. He will be missed by all who had the great fortune to know him and work with him. May the fact that so many have such found memories of Bob be a comfort and blessing to you all in this time of sorrow.

To The Honorable Tom Hynes: On Behalf Of The Comerford Family I want to express our sympathy for the passing of your wondrous brother. My father and your friend Judge Harry Comerford just returned home from a nearly two-week stay in the Hospital. He has to stay in the house until his lungs and respiratory symptoms improve. Our prayers are with you and be ensured that your brother is at peace in God's spiritual kingdom. His earthly tenure was very admirable.

Please accept my family's sympathy. Although you don't know us, we have been connected to the Hynes family for many years. My parents, Pat and Mae Kernaghan (also Irish immigrants), were neighbors and friends of Bill and Kathleen Hynes. My dad, having 4 daughters, was delighted when he could take the Hynes boys to a White Sox game. I had the pleasure of meeting Tom and Bob a few years back and they were so gracious in remembering my dad and those ballgames. May all your wonderful memories get you through the rough days.

How heartsick I was to hear of Bob's passing. He was a true gentleman, and I always found him to be kind and generous. His encouragement to go to law school was life-bending for me, and he continued to encourage me throughout my career.
