I am very sorry for Bob's passing. If there is anything I can do for you plese don't hesitate to let me know. My work number is 312-861-8689 and I am there 8:30-4:30 m-F. Bob loved all and was loved by all , a true gentleman and friend. The Chicago Fire Dept. was blessed to have Bob in its ranks, he will long be remembered. Thank you for sharing your loved one with us.

Even though it's been over 30 years since we hung out in Harry's basement, Bob still holds a very special place in my heart. He was always kind, gentle, and funny. The world was a better place with you in it, Gunther.

Aloha and may the peace that passes all understanding be with you, and your family, and friends. I remember Bob ,as a great partner, on the CFD, and a humble friend. Bob has been a good friend since our old college days at W.I.U. Lorel, Miranda ,Larissa and I will miss you my friend. You lived a good life saving the lives of others. Our hearts and prayers go out to Virg, Kate, and Allie. God bless you Bob.

Our friend Gunther was one of the kindest men I ever met. During the 30 yrs. I knew him he was always a very caring and sincere person. There will always be an emptiness at our reunion of college friends but we'll never forget his laugh or sense of humor. My heart goes out to Virg and the girls. As he called me, "CatyLey"

Bob dedicated his life to saving people and teaching others how to save lives. He was strong, caring and genuine and you never heard him complain, even when he had so much to complain about. We love you Bob and you will be in our hearts forever.
