Grodinsky, Robert M. age 84, beloved husband of the late Molly, (nee Palash), cherished father of Deborah, Ruth, Daniel (Renee) Grodinsky and the late Leah Brown, proud and loving grandfather of Emily and Leah, dearest brother of Leah (Dean) Rosset, loving uncle of Laura, Carol and Mitchell. Bob was a scientist and innovative inventor, who was still inventing right up to the end of his life. Chapel service, Monday, 12:15 p.m. at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 Rand Rd., Arlington Heights. Interment Shalom Memorial Park. Donations may be made to Midwest Palliative and Hospice Care Center, 2050 Claire Crt., Glenview, IL 60025. Info: 847-255-3520.
