Robert Garbacz Obituary
Robert L. Garbacz, lifelong Cubs Fan, passed away on Tuesday May 16, 2023. Beloved husband of Joyce, nee Schoonveld for 58 years. Loving father of Kevin Garbacz and Kimberly Garbacz. Cherished son of the late John and late Lottie, nee Wisniewski Garbacz. Dear brother of Thomas (Peggy), Richard (Ann) Garbacz, Norbert Garbacz and the late Armella (late Helmet) Domke the late John Garbacz. Fond brother-in-law of Lois Schoonveld, Elise (Harold) VanDrie, late Shirley (Ben) Scholten and the late Robert Schoonveld. Uncle and great uncle to many. In Lieu of flowers memorials to your favorite charity would be appreciated. Visitation is Sunday, May 21, 2023 from 4 PM to 8 PM at Foran Funeral Home, 7300 W. Archer Ave. (55th street just west of Harlem), Summit. Visitation at the funeral home on Monday, May 22 from 9:30 a.m. until time of Celebration of Life Service at 10:30 AM.
