To my wonderful Uncle Robert:
You have always been my favorite Uncle and I will truly miss you.
One of my fondest memories is when my Mom and Dad played the organ and violin and you on the harmonica. Those were truly the best and thanks to you, it is the reason why I love music so much today.
You always had such a great smile and treated us with such kindness when we had our family get togethers. That has always meant so much to me.
I think Mom is sitting on the organ right now and Dad has the cane and top hat, waiting to sing "Me and My Shadow." We will all be listening.
Love,
Your neice,
Margaret

Grandpa,
I will never forget the years of wonderful organ playing that I heard spending my childhood one floor above you! I will always remember you pruning the rosebushes in the backyard! I know where I get my love for music and flowers from. I love you Grandpa, you will be missed, but, I know that you are watching over us now. You are finally reunited with Phillip.
Love,your oldest grandchild,

Dear Grandpa,
We love you and miss you dearly, but we will see you again one day. You better have your harmonic with you, cause we love those tunes you would play. We remember one Easter, a couple of years ago, when you began singing, "I'm walking in the rain". We laughed as we remembered the real words to the song, but loved how yours seemed to fit better. We will also remember how you would switch our names up, but still got them right more often then mom. We love you grandpa! XOXO

Dear Dad,
We all love you and will miss you so very much. You have always been the rock of this family, and we will cherish all the family gatherings we have shared over the years. The one moment that will always stick in my mind was the night that my Molly was born. You were the the only one at the hospital because you drove me all the way down town when Jim was still at work. You held my Molly before I could and you said, "whatever you need, I will help you" and in my heart I knew you meant it. Thats the most cherished moment of my life with you. Although there are many more, that one sticks in my mind greater then any other. Another fond memory was your impact with my youngest daughters name. You always called me Morgantante growing up, which led to her name being Morgan. One day when I was in the bath tub with Molly we thought of this name together and it stuck because of you. We will love you forever and cherish your life rob. :)

Though I never met him, he was known to me in stories from his son and daughter-in-law, Ron and Deb as a generous man with great love for his family. I hope that you all will keep his memory alive in your stories. With Great Sorrow,

My most cherished memory of my Father-In-Law was when all of the Family took him to the Dedication of the World War II Memorial in Washington DC. After President Bush made a speech honoring the Vets, he asked for them to stand, and to see Pop receive the recognition long due to him was the most touching moment in history. We took a picture, which I framed for him. Also, seeing the kids come up to him, asking for his autograph, and having people stop him on the street and thanking him for serving in our Armed Forces, was a moment I will never forget. I am truly blessed to have him as a Father-In-Law, and will miss dancing with him. As Tom Brokaw wrote, he is a member of "The Greatest Generation."
Love, Susie

May God Bless Uncle Bob and all the Family. One of the last true ww2war heroes has left us. He was also a hero as a Husband, Father, Grandfather and Uncle. I know he is happy to be reunited with Phillip.
