Danner, Robert W. "Coach Danner" Beloved husband of the late Dolores (nee Swiatek); devoted father of Katherine (Wayne) Casey and Robert (Connie) Danner; loving Grandpa of Victoria, Thomas, Christopher and Carissa; dear brother of Richard (Joan) Danner and the late Patricia (George) Schlaich. Robert was a longtime, dedicated swimming, water polo and diving coach at University of Illinois-Chicago. Coach Danner was inducted to UIC Sport Hall of Fame in 1999. Funeral Tuesday 9:00 a.m. Salerno's Galewood Chapels, 1857 N. Harlem Ave., Chicago to St. Vincent Ferrer Church, Mass 10:30 a.m. Interment St. Adalbert Cemetery. Visitation Monday 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. For info 773-889-1700.
