Robert Compton Obituary
Robert "Bob" Compton, longtime resident of Summit, IL. passed away peacefully at home with his beloved wife, Mary Ellen by his side. They were the most beautiful couple, devoted to each other and looking forward to celebrating their 63rd wedding anniversary on November 28, 2022. He was the loving father of the late Kimberly (Steve) Boll and Evette (Richard) Mosar. Proud grandfather of Steven Boll. A much loved and respected man of great intelligence, compassion and integrity, Bob will be missed by his many friends. He was a loyal and dedicated employee of Electro Motive for 32 years. A member of U.A.W. and a past executive board member. Visitation is Monday from 4 PM to 8 PM at Foran Funeral Home, 7300 W. Archer Ave.(55 th street just west of Harlem). Visitation at the funeral home on Tuesday from 8:30 AM until time of prayers at 9:30 am. we will go in procession from the funeral home to St. Joseph Church for a 10 AM Mass.
