Burns, nee Powell; fond father of Robert (Mary Jane) Burns Jr., Michael (Kelly) Burns and Brian (Lena) Burns; dear grandfather of Allison Burns, Robbie Burns, Kalin Burns, Abigail Burns and Connor Burns and Jack Burns; brother of Mary Lou (the late Neil) Sullivan and the late William (Kathleen) Burns; uncle of many nieces and nephews; dear cousin of Betty Finnerty. Visitation Tuesday, December 6, 2022, 3 P.M. to 8 P.M. and Wednesday, December 7, 2022, 8:45 A.M. to 9:15 A.M. at Hitzeman Funeral Home Ltd. 9445 West 31st Street, Brookfield, IL 60513. Funeral Wednesday 9:15 A.M. to St. Francis Xavier Church, La Grange, Mass 10 A.M. Inurnment Private Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood.
