Robert Bessinger Obituary
Bessinger, Robert John beloved husband of Barbara (nee Schatzman), loving father of Paul Andrew (Wendy) Bessinger, devoted "Poppy" of Ross and Carly, loving son of the late Ralph and Sybil Bessinger and brother of the late Barbara, loving son-in-law of Marvin and Ruth Schatzman. Services Friday, December 26th, at 1 p.m., at Weinstein Family Services Wilmette Chapel, 111 Skokie Blvd., Wilmette (one block north of Old Orchard). Interment Memorial Park Cemetery, Skokie. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Rush University Medical Center, Chappell Research Fund, c/o Dr. Stephanie A. Gregory, 1725 W. Harrison St., Suite 834, Chicago, IL 60612. I just found out about Bob’s passing from a Yahoo “Overflow at 79th” email and found it so hard to believe. I met Bob in the late 50’s because we both were active in Amateur Radio. He was always such a happy person with a smile and laughing all the time. I have such fond memories of the times we shared. Such a loss – I’m so sad for all the family and friends. My deepest sympathy.
