Dear Bernstein family, I was saddened when my brother told me of Bobby's passing, and I wanted to convey my condolences. Like others, I have particular memories of discussing the Cubs; but also I have pleasant memories of talking about family history and, even more fun, family folklore about relatives from long ago.
I am sorry for your loss.

My deepest sympathies for the Bernstein family, the loss of Bob will create a big hole, what I know about him he was always polite, honest and funny. He had an upside alive which is rare.
I am sorry about your loss.

Dear Bernstein family,
I was sorry to read of the death of your loved one, Robert. Please accept my condolences.
God promised Abraham at Genesis 12:3 that "all families of the ground will certainly bless themselves by means of you."
In order to fulfill that promise God will even resurrect from the dead representatives of families that have died out. Life for such resurrected ones will truly be a blessing since most of them will come back to an earthly situation resembling the Paradise that man originally lost.
I look forward to that time as I am sure you do.
Best,
Addean

Dear Berstein Family,
I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Bob. Althought I always knew him as Cubby. He was my Father's best friend, and and dear friend of our family. He will be missed by so many people, but never forgotten.

I am very sorry to hear of Bob's passing. I got to know Bob as a member of the Lake View Alumni Association. I will miss him at Lake View events and at Cubs games. My nickname for him was Robert Morse because he always had a one liner for you.

My deepest, deepest sympathy to the entire family. Bob was my father's best friend since they were 17 years old in the navy together and Bob was such a wonderful friend to my father; and Bob and Jan were always so wonderfully generous and loving to my mother after my father passed away. He
always had a smile and a joke and a kind word for everyone. I will never forget his meaningful words at my father's funeral and how touched I was.
In my heart he will always be "Cubby Bear Bernstein." The world is definitely
not as bright without him in it. Much, Much love to Jan and the entire family!
