Dear Marian,

I just learned of Bob's passing from an old friend. My folks lived next door to the Baumanns back in 1964 when the families lived in Evanston on Grant Street. As youngsters, Bob and I played regularly either at his house, my house, his back yard or my back yard until we moved to Wilmette in 1966.

I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

To The Baumann Family-

I just learned of Bob's death through my old college friends. I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I have attached a photo I have saved for many years of our days together at Arizona State. I did not have the privelege of knowing Bob in recent years, but this photo is a great memory of him.

Marian, I only learned today of Bob's passing. Condolances and deepest sympathy to you and your family. I probably don't have to tell you how much the Baumann family meant to me and my family. I spent a great deal of time with Bob when he first came into the business that left me with many fond memories.

Dear Marian, Michael, Dan,
John Mathew and Elizabeth,
Yesterday's service was such a beautiful tribute to your Husband and Father. Bob managed to touch each person in the room in a unique way. We all cried and laughed. His presence will always be felt.
God Bless You!

Marian, I am so sorry for your loss. Obviously, I did not personally know your husband, but I clearly remember how highly you spoke of him at the Bull's game - stating what a great guy he is - you obviously loved him very much, and for that reason, his spirit will never die. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Take care.

Bob was a very good friend of the Powers Family. We have known each other for more than 25 years. Last time Bob visited with us in New York he was the one who invited us out to a ballgame. I enjoyed golfing with Bob at Winged Foot and most of all coming out to visit him in Chicago as he was and will always be my favorite customer usually asking more of what he could do for my company than what we could do for MSC. Bob talked frequently about his family and the priority they were in his life.
I am going to miss him greatly and so will all those at Powers Fasteners. My brothers Chris and Fred also send there condolances.

Bob was a "gentlemen" in the hardware industry. He is well respected among vendors and customers. He was a man of great integrity. He will be missed greatly. I am so sorry for your loss.
