Dear Bandemer Family, We have only lived next door to you all for a short while but have become pretty good friends in that short time. Rob will be sorely missed. Since the day we moved in Rob was always giving us a helping hand. Like cementing the corner of our garage to trying to teach us how to grow the best grass. He was always lending a hand and would say "thats what neighbors are for". We had our few misunderstandings but overall we were blessed to have had Rob as a neighbor. We should all take a lesson from his kindness and generosity. God allowed him to touch our lives for a short while and we are the better for it. We are praying for you all and hopefully Rob is in heaven with The Lord and smiling down. If you need anything do not hesitate to ask and if we can do it we will because "that's what neighbors are for". For the boy's I know it's not easy losing your Father because I too lost my Father at a young age. But God provides. God will be there for you as he always has been. If times get tough God will always help if you ask. May God's peace be with you all during this difficult time. We send you all our Love. The Boerema's

Dear Sandy, Rob Jr., Ed

It's with a sad heart I leave this message. Rob touched so many people, including myself. He was always the guy with that goofy grin on his face whenever you saw him, whether it be at the ice arena behind his video camera, or in the truck at 5am on the way to the lake. He was a great man and loving father, and husband. We had a lot of great times, and I'll cherish the memories I have of him with the Cobras, and on the water forever. Our hearts are with you all, and you're in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Family and Friends,

Although I have known Rockfish for a short time, I will never forget his great nature, his "rubber concrete boot and gym shoes", and his great stories about striper fishing.

He will be missed.
