Richard Tomlinson Obituary

Tomlinson Sr., Richard H. age 55, of Dyer, IN, passed away Sunday, December 5th. Survived by his wife, Barbara Tomlinson of Dyer, IN; one son, Richard Tomlinson Jr. of Chicago; two daughters, Jacqueline (Rick) Schneider of Highland, IN, Christina Tomlinson of Dyer, IN; two grandchildren, Zachary and Taylor; one brother, Dan (Sharon) Tomlinson of Homer Glen, IL, several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Alma Tomlinson; one sister, Denise McGregor. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 8th, 10 a.m., from the Fagen-Miller Funeral Home, 1920 Hart St., Dyer, IN, with Rev. John D. Malzahn officiating, with cremation to follow. Friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Tuesday, December 7th, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. Richard was a Vietnam veteran serving in the U.S. Marine Corp. Member of American Legion Post #272 in Hegewisch. Member of American Welding Society; loved golf. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. Info: 219-865-2881.

To the Tomlinson family goes my deepest sympathy. He fought the hard fight, and is now at peace with his maker.
