RICHARD TACHELL Obituary

Richard Tachell, 79, formerly of Kennewick, passed away peacefully at home in New Brighton, PA, with wife Gwen, daughters Dana and Sheryl along with his cherished dog 'Mitzi' by his side. Richard was born on February 24, 1930, in Renton, Washington, to Chester and Geraldine Tachell.

Richard married the love of his life Gwenith (Campbell) Schroder on November 8th, 1968. Richard's son Wade Tachell and daughter Mica Tachell (Walls) along with Gwen's sons, Brian and Brad Schroder, 2 daughters, Shannon Schroder (Lang) and Sheryl Schroder (Flynn) began the family. Born were Dana and Robert making this family complete. Richard raised the entire family as his very own earning his spot as 'Dad' in the hearts of all the kids.

Richard worked for and retired from Tri-City Battery.

Surviving family includes Richard's wife, Gwen daughter, Dana Tachell (Rust) and her children residing in Pennsylvania. The remaining children along with their spouses, a brother Darrell Tachell, a son Daryl Tachell, 15 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews all reside in Washington state. Preceding Richard in death are both parents and brothers Thomas and Michael Tachell.

Richard was a friend to all, leaving many wonderful friends all throughout the United States. A celebration of Richards's life will be held in August beachside at Pacific Beach, Washington, and at Roosevelt Lake, both favorite places of Richard's.
