Richard V. Slowik, age 82, of Westchester. Beloved husband of 58 years to the late Mary Ann (nee Trembacz); loving father of Jim (Tracy), Dan, Dave (Heather) Slowik and Jean (Eric) Rosenzweig; proud papa of Sarah, Jimmy, Olivia, Luke and Hadleigh; dear brother of Jeannine (late Bob) Adamczyk; fond brother-in-law of the late Ed (LaVerne) Trembacz; playful uncle of many. Visitation Saturday, March 2, 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Conboy-Westchester Funeral Home, 10501 W. Cermak Rd., Westchester. Mass to immediately follow at St. Francis Xavier Church, 124 N. Spring Rd., La Grange at 11:00 a.m. Mass can be seen via livestream at https://www.facebook.com/SFXParish.LG (account not required). Entombment Queen of Heaven Cemetery. Dear Slowik Family,
I am so very sorry to hear that your Father had passed. I first met your Father when we both worked at Western Electric in Rolling Meadows back in the late 60´s. I´ve always enjoyed being with him at work, playing golf, Blackhawk Hockey, memories of hunting with him and Fred, not to mention his humorous ways, making me laugh uncontrollably in tears many times..I´ll never forget the good times we had!

Jean I'm so sorry for your loss. I did not know your dad but I remember sitting at the pool with you a few summers ago and you telling me all about him. You told me a lot of stories and I know you helped him and spent time with him daily. He sure meant a lot to you and I know many other people. You were both lucky to have each other.
