Beloved husband of Barbara (nee Ratajczak) for 23 years; dearest father of Jeanette (David) Goodwin; grandfather of Grace; dear brother of Mary (late Abel) Ramirez, Dolores (Carlos) Gonzalez, Joanne (Jimmy) Flores, Carmella (late Rick) Summey and Paul Salas; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Veteran of U.S. Army Vietnam War. Member of Munster, IN VFW Post #2697. Past Master-Member Glenburnie Lodge #213 AFAM in Glenburnie, MD. Member of Munster Christian Church Munster, IN. Visitation Thursday 2:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Friday, April 21, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the Elmwood Chapel, 11200 S. Ewing Ave. Chicago. Pastors Jeff Bulthuis & Pastor Herm Schutt, officiating.
