Richard. M. Pocius. May 8, 2022. Age 78. U.S. Army Veteran., of Lemont. IL. Devoted husband of Thelma R. Pocius, nee Townsend. Loving father of Burke Pocius. Beloved brother of Dorothy(James) Bercich. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Funerals services Friday at 10:30 A.M. at the Petkus Lemont Funeral Home, 12401 S. Archer Ave.(at Derby Rd.), Lemont. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Romeoville, IL. Richard was a regional Terminal Manager of the Conrail Company, retired from the Norfolk and Southern Company. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Offerings in Richard's name may be made to Tunnel to Towers Foundation ( www.t2t.org ) and will be deeply appreciated. I'm deeply saddened by this. Dick was a great guy.
A genuine leader. At work, we would occasionally swap Army stories, and Lithuanian traditions etc.
Just a good man. The world's loss, is Heavens gain. I feel privileged, to say he was a friend of mine.
