Richard Marquette Obituary

Marquette, Richard W. 78, of Elgin, died Tuesday at Rosewood Care Center. Richard was born in Chicago on February 3, 1925 to Dennis P. and Margaret Cullinane Marquette. He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Paul and William. Richard is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth (Betty) of 55 years; five children, Mark, Michelle Klinger, Maureen Benavides, Mitchell and Martin; four brothers, Robert, Thomas, James and John; one sister, Denise; five grandchildren, Victoria, Marriell, Maianna, Sonja and Shane; one great-grandchild, Alex. Richard was loved very much by his family and friends and will be missed by all. Visitation will be Friday and Saturday, December 26th and 27th from 3 until 8 p.m. The Funeral will be Monday, the 29th, at 2 p.m. at the O'Connor-Leetz Funeral Home, with Fr. Geoffrey Wirth officiating. Funeral arrangements are through O'Connor-Leetz Funeral Home, Elgin, 847-741-1400

I was so sorry to hear about Uncle Dick's passing and I pray for you Aunt Betty and all your children that God will ease your pain in time. He was a wonderful man so let the good memories of him help you through this tough time. I love you all Love Linda
