Maks, Richard age 53, beloved husband of Bonnie (nee Rowinski), loving father of Sherry (Mike) Novak, dearest son of Ann and the late Norman Maks, dear brother of Janet (Ed) Formas and Carol (Dave) Dziemiela, fond uncle of Carrie, Allsion, Tom, Valerie, Pamela, Carly and Dana, dear brother-in-law of Theresa (Dan) Wardzala and Michael (Mary Jo) Rowinski, son-in-law of Helen (the late Edward) Rowinski. Member of the I.B.E.W. Local #134. Funeral Wednesday, 8:45 a.m., from the Richard-Midway Funeral Home, 5749 Archer Ave. (corner of Lorel), to St. Richard Church for 9:30 a.m. Mass. Bonnie, Sherry, Mike, and all the Maks family,
I was shocked to hear about the news from my dad. Rick was a very cool guy, I loved coming over there and hanging out with you guys, you always made us feel welcome. I will never forget sitting my yard bbqing and Rick yelling across the fence, "What are you making? Hamburgers AGAIN?" And our little talks about our favorite people on the block were fun too. You are in my thoughts.

My deepest sympathies to you and Sherry. We will all miss Rick. I know he had a lot of influence on me when I was younger and even in later years I was always impressed by his awesome mechanical mind.
