Maher, Richard E. "Dick" (retired CPD Traffic Area 6), age 73, April 7th, beloved husband of Ann (nee Hughes), loving father of Patti (CPD), Rick (CPD) (Maria CPD) and Michael (Catherine Mary), devoted papa to Morgan, Brielle and Jillian Maher, dear step-grandfather of Katrina (Corey) Volkers and Stephan Maglaya, dearest brother of Rev. Byron G. Maher, Sr. Merici Maher O.S.F. and Mary (the late Bill) McInerney, fond brother-in-law of James B. (Margaret) Hughes, Patsy (the late Daniel) Genatempo and Peg Bogosh, dear uncle of many nieces and nephews, cherished friend and adviser to many both here and in Florida. He was a Chicagoland car dealer for over 50 years as owner of P.M. Motors and Transportation Unlimited. Funeral Tuesday, 9:15 a.m., from Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 6150 N. Cicero Ave., to St. Mary of the Woods Church for Mass at 10 a.m. Entombment All Saints Cemetery. Visitation Monday, from 3 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105 (www.stjude.org), would be appreciated. 773-736-3833To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.

Annie our deepest condolences to you and your family. I will miss speaking to Dick, it was always my pleasure just to talk with Dick when ever I had the chance. I know many people loved Dick in this world and I am happy to say I knew him. Michael it's been hard this past month,but you and I know Dick is cutting a deal in heaven and we will see him again.
